Join us at the Garden District Community Garden Gazebo for the Family Compost Workshop and Plant Sale! Bring the whole family for an interactive composting workshop presented by Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful. This workshop is designed to engage all ages in learning about what composting is, why it's important, and how to create a successful compost pile. Workshops will be 45 minutes long and include a presentation, hands-on learning, and a Q&A. Workshops will move indoors in the event of rain.Workshop starts at 11 AM.
Workshops are free and open to the public.
Don't forget your plants! The Garden District Neighborhood Association is hosting a plant sale from 10 AM to 2 PM. Sale is cash only.
Need a compost bin? Pre-order yours through the City of Milwaukee’s 15th Annual Compost Bin Sale and pick it up on June 6! Order at recyclingconnections.org/milwaukee.
