Composition & Visual Storytelling: Monthly Photography Workshop
About this Event
Every photograph tells a story. The question is: What story are you telling?
Join photographer and educator NiEtta Reynolds for an evening of creativity as we explore composition, visual storytelling, and the art of making photographs with intention.
Photography isn't about having the most expensive camera—it's about learning to see. During this workshop, we'll slow down, look differently, and discover how composition, light, and perspective can transform an ordinary moment into a meaningful photograph.
Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or you've been photographing for years, this workshop is designed to strengthen your creative eye while giving you practical techniques you can use every time you pick up your camera.
During the Workshop We'll Explore
- The foundations of strong composition
- Framing, balance, perspective, and leading lines
- How to use light and shadow to create depth and mood
- How to create photographs that communicate ideas and emotion
- Visual storytelling techniques used in documentary and fine art photography
- An introduction to the cyanotype photographic process
