Festival of Nature is delighted to present this special evening with award-winning wildlife film composer and conductor William Goodchild. This spectacular event will be a musical celebration of William's 100 commissions for natural history programming, including for major broadcasters Netflix and BBC.

Dr Simon Bell, staff producer and award-winning director at BBC Studios Natural History Unit, will be in conversation with William exploring his inspiration, process, and the role of music in natural history film production.

We’ll get to hear thrilling and emotive clips from William’s music scores for major productions and discover the significance of giving the natural world an unforgettable soundtrack.

Featuring special guest, renowned natural history director James Reed.

The evening features special guest, renowned natural history director and producer James Reed. Best known for his work directing Oscar winning and adored documentary My Octopus Teacher, James will talk about and show clips from his latest incredible production Chimp Empire.
