About this Event
Jupiter High School Band will host an Evening with composer Dr. Frank Ticheli and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Dr. Ticheli is an American composer of orchestral, choral, chamber and concert band works. His music has been described as being "optimistic and thoughtful" (Los Angeles Times), "lean and muscular" (New York Times), "brilliantly effective" (Miami Herald) and "powerful, deeply felt crafted with impressive flair and an ear for striking instrumental colors" (South Florida Sun-Sentinel). It will be an evening of live music, and will feature our annual silent auction! The funds raised at this event directly support the students of our award-winning band program to cover our yearly operating expenses, including the purchase and repair of instruments, transportation costs, uniforms, and much more!
