Child Abuse Prevention Network of MT will be offering a 2-day Complex Trauma Mini Conference including 4 trainers and 9 training workshop options at United Way in Billings, MT. The workshops were developed by the Complex Trauma Training Consortium CTTC (a member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network) with funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Day One: Complex Trauma 101 is a core topic of the 20-module Trainer-Training Curriculum of the CTTC.
In this introduction to complex trauma we will cover types of trauma, the physiology of trauma, ways complex trauma impacts development, and basic strategies to help people feel safer.
