Yep... that was me too.
When I realized we had an actual sewing pro right here in our area offering classes, I immediately signed up for a private session with her. I was such a beginner that I didn't know a darn thing. In just one session, she helped me set up my machine for success and sew my very first project.
Fast forward to today, and after only that one class, I've been able to make all kinds of projects. So many people have asked for a workshop just like this, and we're excited to finally bring it to you!
Not only will we get hands-on with our sewing machines (Emily will help you setup and understand our machines), but longtime yogi and meditation teacher Kylie Ignace will guide us through gentle centering practices before and after sewing. Her goal is to help calm nerves, build confidence, and allow us to experience sewing as the fulfilling and enjoyable activity it can be—without the stress.
And because every retreat needs good food, we'll enjoy a premium brunch-style charcuterie spread in between sessions.
