Award-winning community historian, curator and author Catherine Clement will share the findings of her landmark project which excavated stories of what really happened during one of the darkest chapters in Canadian history.
Her book, “The Paper Trail to the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act”, is the first to explore the broad range of “human experiences” of exclusion as revealed through the stories of the many lives it touched. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to delve into fascinating real stories of Chinese-Canadian history and get a signed copy of The Paper Trail.
The talk will happen in English, with option of whispered translation to French and Chinese.
