Compassionate Workplaces
About this Event
At St Elizabeth Hospice, we recognise that workplaces play a vital role in supporting employees who are affected by bereavement, loss and long-term illness. We also understand that every workplace is made up of people from many different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs, each with their own experiences and priorities when it comes to care, grief and loss.
Compassionate Workplaces is a free two-hour awareness session designed to help employers better support their workforce through these challenges. The training provides practical guidance and insights to help create a more compassionate and inclusive workplace culture.
Particularly beneficial for line managers, HR professionals and people leaders, the session offers a practical introduction that will build confidence in having supportive conversations and responding appropriately to employees experiencing loss. By investing in compassionate support, organisations can improve staff wellbeing and contribute to better long-term outcomes for both employees and the business.
A networking lunch will be provided at the end of the session from 12-1, offering an opportunity to continue discussions, share experiences and connect with others committed to creating compassionate workplaces.
