The Arizona State Poetry Society (ASPS) presents this generative workshop by Katie Sarah Zale.

Katie Sarah Zale has been working in the space of social and environmental activism and compassionate listening for years. Her poetry expresses her passion for world and human justice.

An Introduction to Compassionate Listening: Exploring the Other Through Personal Writing & Poetry 

This is the 8th Workshop in ASPS's Awareness to Action series of workshops in which our awareness helps to inform our actions to change our world for the better. Exploring awareness of the "other" (other perspectives other personas other realities and world views) will help us to be more compassionate about why they feel the way they feel and help us to work toward peaceful solutions. Our writing can express this kind of awareness and help others to achieve it too.

Registration is open to all for $30. ASPS members can register for $20. If you want the discount join ASPS for only $25 a year and get discounted access to all our workshops and events through the year.
