"MAYA WITH:N invites audiences into a dreamlike, transformational world where awakening becomes a collective journey. Drawing from the Sanskrit concept of maya—meaning “illusion” or “unreality”—the work reveals the world as a dreamlike construct, inviting disruption of the ego and reconnection to the Spirit within.
Blending the art of becoming with interdisciplinary storytelling and an Afro-futurist aesthetic, MAYA WITH:N invites audiences into a sensory-rich environment where healing, liberation, and self-love are embodied through dance, spoken word, and visual design. The work unfolds as an abstract yet deeply human experience—merging performance, instruction, and immersive choice-making that engages not only the eye, but the whole being.
Through this multi-dimensional approach, MAYA WITH:N seeks to dissolve boundaries between artist and audience, offering a shared space to question perception, embrace transformation, and discover the infinite possibilities that emerge when we imagine new futures together."
