ENCommuter started as a project of Dionysis Koutavas (vocals/guitar) in Athens in 2019. Influenced by the post-punk sounds of the Canadian scene (Women, Preoccupations) as well as the new wave of UK (Shame, Squid) among others. In October 2021 the project finally became a full band with the addition of Dimitris Koutsoulis (drums), Spilios Kakkas (bass) and Alexandros Kolokythas (guitar).

Projekt Commuter odstartoval v Athénách v roce 2019 díky Dionysisi Koutavasovi (zpěv/kytara). Kapelu ovlivnily post-punkové zvuky kanadské scény (jako jsou Women a Preoccupations) a také nová vlna z Velké Británie (např. Shame, Squid).
V říjnu 2021 se z původního projektu stala plnohodnotná kapela, když se k Dionysisovi přidali Dimitris Koutsoulis (bicí), Spilios Kakkas (baskytara) a Alexandros Kolokythas (kytara).
