Community Yoga Series

This series is an offering dedicated to black and/or queer people. In a world that continuously seek to erase or invalidate our identities, it is important that we intentionally create space to foster rest, healing, mindfulness, movement, empowerment and liberation for ourselves.

What to expect:

Come connect with your mind and body as an act of radical resistant to the chaos and grind of our lives. In this session you can expect breath-work to help you feel more relaxed. A meditation aspect that will be tied to the moral principles of yoga, guiding individuals to first connect deeply with themselves, then with their community, and ultimately with the world. The movement portion of these sessions will feature a full-body Vinyasa flow that builds strength, flexibility, and balance, while also providing space to reclaim embodiment, resist systemic stress, and nurture mindfulness as a form of self-care and liberation in a world that demands resilience from Black and Queer communities.

This class is suitable for both beginners and people with an ongoing yoga practice, as we offer a unique approach to yoga that integrates movement, meditation, and mindfulness as pathways to deeper self-connection, community, and liberation.

In the spirit of accessibility, this is a donation-based series. This work is not free. Your donations help make this work possible.
