About this Event

🩺 BHM Community Ambassador Workshop: Understanding Prostate Cancer and Clinical Research in Black Men

📍 Sponsored by Amgen. Hosted by Black Health Matters, One Hundred Black Men of New York, and Prostate Health Matters.

🔹 About the Event

Join us for an in-person BHM Community Ambassador Workshop focused on metastatic prostate cancer and the vital role of clinical research in improving outcomes for Black men.

This special event will provide information and resources to help you educate your community about prostate cancer risk, clinical trial participation, and culturally relevant health messaging.

Attendees will hear from leading oncologists, prostate cancer survivors, and advocates who will share insights into how we can advance equity in cancer care—together.

🔹 Who Should Attend

We are seeking community ambassadors—men and women who are leaders, connectors, or health champions in their churches, fraternities, community centers, barbershops, or other trusted spaces.

As an ambassador, you will:

  • Learn the latest information about metastatic prostate cancer and clinical research opportunities
  • Connect with experts and survivors who are helping shift the narrative for Black men’s health
  • Receive culturally relevant materials and tools to educate your network and community
  • Be empowered to take action and share life-saving resources with others

No prior experience needed. Just your passion for improving the lives of Black men.
