Community Wellness Resource Fair: Lung Screening Van

Brooklyn Public Library's Community Health Team, in collaboration with the Church of St. Mark and the St. Luke's Health Guild, brings you a Community Health Wellness & Resource Fair.

Please join us for free health screenings, education, community resources and giveaways.

Weill Cornell Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center will hold lung screenings using their Mobile Health Screening Van through the duration of the Resource Fair. Lung screening is recommended (and usually fully covered by your insurnace) if you are:

• Between 50 - 80
• Current smoker or quit within the last 15 years
• 20 pack-year history of smoking or more

Both a CT scan and lunh scan will be conduted to access the health of your lungs. Appointments are not necessary, and walk-ins are welcome on a first come first serve basis.
