About this Event

During this Community Volunteer Day, volunteers will help raise public awareness about the threat this pest poses to trees, crops, and ecosystems, while also assisting in the installation of safe and effective traps in targeted areas.

Participants will receive a brief training on how to identify the Spotted Lanternfly, understand its impact, and learn best practices for managing its spread. Then, we’ll head out in teams to distribute materials and go observing spotted lantern flies.
