Join the Temple Police Department’s Community Oriented Policing Unit for a FREE one-hour presentation on the bystander effect and how it can impact you and your community.
The presentation will be held in the Sunglo Building at the MLK Fair Grounds, located at 301 S. 4th St.
During this presentation, attendees will learn how the bystander effect can influence decision-making during emergencies and everyday situations. COPS officers will discuss the importance of recognizing when someone may need help and how community members can safely take action when appropriate. This interactive discussion will provide practical information on how individuals can make a positive difference and help strengthen community safety through awareness and engagement.
