Community Table Breakfast: Back-to-School Parent Bootcamp
About this Event
Community Table Breakfast: Back-to-School Parent Bootcamp
The first few weeks of school often set the tone for the entire year.
Join us for a welcoming and interactive breakfast designed to help parents feel organized, prepared, and confident before the school year begins.
Hosted by long time educator Cristina Angueira, now a Tutor, Mentor, and Community Connector who is passionate about bringing people together through education, local businesses, and meaningful community experiences. She believes that strong communities are built one connection at a time.
This workshop goes beyond basic back-to-school tips. You’ll learn practical strategies that can help reduce daily stress, build stronger routines, encourage independence, and create a more positive learning environment at home.
During this interactive session, we’ll explore:
• How to create routines that actually stick
• Helping children become more organized and independent
• Homework habits that reduce frustration
• Common mistakes parents make at the start of the school year—and how to avoid them
• Simple ways to support your child’s academic success and confidence
• Time to ask questions and connect with other local parents
Each attendee will receive a Parent Success Workbook filled with planning pages, checklists, and tools you can use throughout the school year.
Whether your child is entering elementary, middle, or high school, you’ll leave with practical ideas you can start using immediately.
This is the first event in the Community Table Breakfast Series, bringing neighbors together through education, meaningful conversations, and support for locally owned restaurants.
Space is limited to keep the discussion personal and interactive. Reserve your seat today!
