Inspired by his grandmother’s kitchen, Chef Bradley James Dry (Wolf Clan of the Cherokee Nation) hosts a community gathering called "Millie's House," centered around family nourishment underneath the Guthrie Green Pergola.
About Chef Bradley James Dry
Chef Bradley Dry is a Cherokee food stylist and chef from Tulsa, Oklahoma, deeply inspired by his heritage and his grandmother, Mildred Raper, who taught him traditional Appalachian recipes. With over a decade of restaurant experience, Dry now focuses on preserving Cherokee culinary traditions through catering, demonstrations, and events like the 2023 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. A passionate forager, he blends traditional Cherokee foods with contemporary techniques, striving to keep Cherokee culture alive in modern American cuisine. He prepared meals for the TV series Reservation Dogs, created by his friend Sterlin Harjo.
