Join the Buffalo & Erie County Lead Safe Task Force and the UB Lead Research Group for our annual meeting and summit "Building a Lead-Safe and Healthy Future" on Saturday, October 25th 9 - 1 pm at Hayes Hall on South Campus.
Buffalo and Erie County continue to face a crisis of childhood lead poisoning, with over 580 children diagnosed with an elevated blood lead level in 2024.
This event will feature a new film, speakers, and discussion about policy, research and community education challenges and opportunities moving forward. The event is free and open to the public though space is limited. Please register by October 17th.
