Community Sharing Circle (Free Wellness Event)

Come help me initiate my newly renovated back yard as a welcoming space!

There’s room for 8, ages 18+ welcome.

We start promptly at 4:30, after which the circle is closed to new arrivals – please be on time!

Lasts about 1 hour.

There will be time for mingling after, if that feels right.

Being in circle is a transformative experience. It is an invitation to silence the urgent to hear the important, to say “yes” to ourselves and each other. It feels like a wonderful group hug. We leave feeling more supported, and a little bit in awe of how gathering like this works its own magic. Don’t be nervous, no experience required, it’s easy! As the host of our circle, I’ll guide us. I can’t wait to be with you.

What is Circle? We gather together in a small group, sit in a circle, open and hold safe space for each other. We honor the agreements. While we each speak a piece of ourselves into the center, the rest hold the rim by “just listening”—with curiosity, courage, and compassion. There is no cross-talk or advising. It is a deep listening experience. We speak with intention, listen with attention, and tend to the wellbeing of the circle together. Sometimes what we are present to is simple, sometimes more complex. Sometimes it takes courage, and sometimes we simply want to let others share in our joy… Almost always, a common theme or two emerges, even though we are all meeting for perhaps the first time. After we close the circle, there will be time to connect. Feel free to leave right away, or linger a bit. Remember to keep our agreements. Practice self-awareness, sensing others’ boundaries, and by all means, feel into gratitude! You may choose to acknowledge something that touched you and why – that’s a natural result of being in circle.
