Join us for the 9th Annual CommUnity Share Fest on Saturday January 7, 2023! We invite you to our version of a party with a purpose - a warm clothing drive at the Circus Collective warehouse starting with an opening intentional circle promptly at 6pm and going until sunrise. We'll take a journey through several genres of music including 3 full bands, 3 DJs, 3 solo ladies, 3 Hip-Hop MCs and live improv jams to close. Bring your warm winter clothing donations and we'll share those at the follow up Give Back Action outside the Denver Rescue Mission on Sunday January 8th at 2:30pm! Take a minute to invite your friends to join you for a night of live music, live painters, poetry, aerial performances, artisan vendors, food & drinks and networking with our beautiful activist community.

Here's a look back to 2015 after the first CommUnity Share Fest when we shared all the clothing donations with those in need outside the Denver Rescue Mission.
★ The Copper Children started playing music together at the Liberty Lodge, where CommUnity Share Fest was originally hosted 2015-2018. January 7th will be a big reunion. We are here to curate an adventure inward and calibrate a celebration of all that is great. With a soulful, rhythmic melody softly sweeping you to the dance floor, resistance is futile. The Copper Children is a band from Denver, CO blending original soul, folk, funk, reggae, and psychedelic rock and blues into a moving performance. Their music feels good and leaves audiences agreeing. Over the years the band has performed fro audiences at Summer Camp, Northwest String Summit, Arise Music Festival, and on national tours of the U.S. Like a roller coaster, their “Psychedelic Gospel” experience leaves audiences feeling transported to the rail-yards of freedom.

★ Freedom Movement returns for the 9th year in a row! Freedom Movement is the future of hip hop! It’s a message of positivity and character development. Before hip hop became co-opted and turned into a hollow morally corrupt commercial object, it connected music to the soul of a people. It had purpose, sophistication, meaning, swag and innovation. In the hero journey, we come out of the muck back into the light. This music embodies that stage of the journey.
