Community Round Table & Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

Community members, including parents, grandparents, caregivers, and families of all backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences, are warmly invited to join us in person for our Community Round Table discussions. Together, we will explore how the Family Success Center can best serve our community by identifying needs, sharing resources, and creating meaningful programs and activities for children and families.

At the Family Success Center, we believe that strong communities are built through collaboration, mutual respect, and shared responsibility. We are committed to working alongside families—not simply providing services, but partnering with community members to support one another, strengthen connections, and create opportunities for all.

The Community Round Table serves as our Parent Advisory Council (PAC).

What is the PAC?

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a diverse group of parent, grandparent, caregiver, and family volunteers who work together with Family Success Center staff to guide, shape, and strengthen the programs and services offered by the center. Their voices, experiences, and ideas help ensure that the center reflects the needs, strengths, and priorities of the community it serves.

What does the PAC do?

• Provides feedback on programs, services, and community needs
• Shares ideas for new programs, activities, and improvements
• Assists with planning, organizing, and volunteering at events
• Helps connect families with resources and opportunities
• Serves as ambassadors and advocates within the community
• Ensures the center remains welcoming, family-centered, inclusive, and responsive to all families

Why is the PAC important?

PAC members play a vital role in ensuring that the Family Success Center remains community-driven, accessible, and responsive to local families. Their insight helps create programs and services that are developed with families, by families, and for families. Through partnership and collaboration, the PAC helps strengthen our community and ensures that every voice has the opportunity to be heard.
