'Do What You Can' Volunteer Network

Extreme weather is becoming more common, and we will all feel the effects.

In this last workshop, we put our knowledge to the test in a practical, scenario-based session is designed for all of us ready to respond to climate-related emergencies. In this workshop, the focus will be on children, families and others including the elderly.

During the workshop, we will explore:

  • Imaginary scenarios that could happen, and how we would respond together
  • The impacts of heatwaves on vulnerable and at-risk people
  • Practical actions to improve preparedness at a neighbourhood level
  • Lessons from real-life scenarios and shared experiences
  • Opportunities to connect and build resilience together


From 12pm at St Luke's Community Centre. Refreshments will be served at each workshop.
