The Community Recreation Center is moving into another exciting phase to determine its name and branding look. A brand is the tone of voice, core values and visual elements that work together to help people connect with the brand. This public process, including this survey, will lead to finalizing the brand and name to be included in the winter-spring 2025-2026 activity guide. We appreciate everyone who has engaged in the process over the past several years. You are invited to continue to share your thoughts and feedback to ensure the community recreation center reflects and celebrates Grand Junction. Please consider participating through two upcoming opportunities:
• Community Feedback Survey: The survey will be open between March 3-April 6 for an opportunity to share your input on naming and branding preferences for the Community Recreation Center. gjpr.org/GJRecCenterSurvey
• Interactive Community Meeting: Join Parks & Recreation staff and consultants on Tuesday, April 1, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Park Barn (910 N. 12th Street) to hear project updates, participate in engaging feedback activities and sign up for upcoming construction tours of the facility that has gone vertical at Matchett Park.
