Community Rally: Fundraiser to Support AYTTO

This fundraiser will include a mini Peaka Pong doubles tournament and good company!

Hi, my name is Andrew Tang, and I am a rising senior at Stuyvesant High School. In my table tennis career, I’ve been known as an assistant coach, a captain of the school table tennis team, or even just a student athlete. All of this has been possible due to the American Youth Table Tennis Organization (AYTTO).

During the nine years that I have been a part of AYTTO, I've been to three of their international summer camps, spent hundreds of hours at their student clinics, and coached over 20 students as a volunteer. The organization has helped me become who I am today by giving me the tools to become a better player and opportunities to communicate, instruct, and lead.

As I close out my high school years, I realized that I want to give back to AYTTO. It has been like my second family and an amazing community to be part of. This fundraiser is my way of thanking AYTTO and providing a chance for other kids to be part of the AYTTO family.

To make things fair and more fun, everyone will be playing with Peaka Pong paddles (all wooden, no rubber paddles).

Format:

• Teammates will be assigned randomly.
• The initial round will be round robin groups, then the top 2 teams will advance to the knockout stage

Prizes:

• Winners will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals
• 1st place will receive balls signed by Xu Shaofa (Former international pro from China).
• All participants will receive a free Peaka Pong paddle for attending the event!

NOTE: SPIN does not allow outside food to be eaten in SPIN. You can purchase food and drinks from their cash kitchen and bar, which is separate from the fundraiser itself.
