It is time for the church to stand up, allow ourselves to fully feel the pain of a hurting world, and to bring healing and peace to it!
In a world filled with so much violence and killing (19 killed in school shootings so far this year, over 300 people murdered in Pennsylvania so far this year, over 150,000 people who have lost their lives in armed conflicts around the world so far this year), we cannot allow ourselves to be desensitized to the pain that family members and friends are going through as they try to process the death of loved ones. The church cannot retreat into its sanctuaries and hide from the chaos of the world. We must be peacemakers as the hands and feet of God making a positive impact on the world that we pray for.
Please join us for a two-part evening of prayer as we both pray for families and friends affected by the loss of loved ones through violence and for God to show us how we can be a part of bringing peace to this world. Everyone is invited as we seek to come together as a community!
