This is a fun ‘open day’ for families to experience tennis together and run around and have fun. It also serves as an introducFon to our Hot Shots program for kids. We provide the balls, racquets and coaching to make this a very positive experience for everyone.
Tennis Hot Shots is the national starter tennis programme for children. Smaller courts, shorter racquets and softer balls mean that kids can play a proper game of tennis from the moment they step on court. Tennis Hot Shot sessions are made up of tactical, technical, fun and social elements which create developmental readiness in children. And of course it gets the kids started with a fun sport at a young age.
The children are taught different skills at different ages. Here is the breakdown of age groups: Blue Stage (3-4 years old), Red Stage (5-8 years old), Orange Stage (8-10 years old), Green Stage (10-12 years old)
