Community Peace Dove Sculpture Workshop - May Edition

Join us at Orchard Barn on Earth Day for a fun and creative morning workshop crafting a Community Sculpture of a Peace Dove.

Whether you're an art pro or just love crafting, this is your chance to make a beautiful community sculpture of a peace dove alongside neighbours and new friends. Let’s spread good vibes and positive energy together in these turbulant times, while getting hands-on with some of natures greatest materials.

In this workshop you will get to experience making Cob which is a natural building material made from a mix of clay from the ground, sand, straw and water. We mix this with our feet - so bring wellies and wear old clothes or overalls. We will then be creating the cob dove on top of the cob and flint base (already created in a previous workshop) - see picture for inspiration.

An adults only event.

What to bring:

• Wellies and old clothes or overalls
• Drinks and snacks
• Lunch to share if you would like to stay on after the workshop to eat lunch with us in the orchard (12-1)
• Old gloves that you dont mind getting dirty - if you have some. (We do have spares).
