Community Paint Day #2: BROMO Arts District

Grab a paint brush and join artist Maura Dwyer in creating a new mural for BRUSH Mural Fest Community Paint Day! Sponsored by the Baltimore Community Foundation, each session is free and open to all ages, no painting experience needed! Don’t miss your chance to get involved in the creative process and work alongside professional muralists!

**NOTE: Please wear clothes/shoes that you do not mind getting paint on. We use latex acrylic paint, which will NOT wash off if it gets on your clothing.

Maura Dwyer is a Baltimore-based interdisciplinary visual artist and master’s student in the urban planning program at University of Maryland, where she focuses on cooperative economic development and creative placemaking. Previously she worked as Program Coordinator for the Station North Arts District, a program of Central Baltimore Partnership, and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Neighborhood Design Center’s (NDC) public lighting initiative, Signal Station North.

When not in school or coordinating public art projects, she enjoys making crankies, supporting community art builds, and learning more about cooperative economic models in Baltimore and around the world.
