Our topic this month is Part Two of Unpacking #LandWithoutLandlords—towards a Mission-Aligned Eviction Diversion Policy.

Last CO Circle, our guiding questions were: what does it mean for us to be an anti-displacement organization co-stewarding Cooperative housing success and financial stability, knowing that monthly housing payments may not always be paid? How can we craft a realistic, mission-aligned Eviction Diversion Policy centering the Cooperative and the individual?

Community Owners: this is where you come in! We'll be delving deeper into your responses by discussing financial modeling of the three options we discussed last month. RSVP to join the conversation led by EB PREC Finance Director Ojan Mobedshahi.

If you have a proposal you would like to present to the Community Owner Circle, you can make a request to the staff collective directly; proposals must be submitted at least 72 hours in advance, per the Cooperative Proposal Process shared on page 8 of the EB PREC Land Sovereignty Handbook. We would love to address proposals in an upcoming CO Circle!
