Join Butler MFA for community workshop, “Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Story: An Introduction to Creative Nonfiction” taught by Emma Hudelson!

This workshop will introduce the wide world of creative nonfiction, the fastest-growing field in creative writing.
Over six weeks, we'll read classic and cutting-edge work to inspire your own writing, and we'll read and workshop each other's work with helpful, generous eyes. Prompts and assignments will be provided, but you are welcome to bring work you've already started.
Phyllis Rose said, "The challenge of nonfiction is to marry art and truth," so our job will be to rise to that challenge and help you tell the story that only you can tell.
No previous workshop experience is required.
Open to adults only, not appropriate for children.
Dates: Tuesdays May 6th- June 10th (6 weeks) / 6-8pm
Location: Efroymson Center for Creative Writing on the campus of Butler University / 530 W Hampton Drive
Cost: $400 per student
