Please join us for a celebration of community art and neighborhood pride at the Malone/Hawley Mural Unveiling!
We're thrilled to reveal a stunning new mural that honors the rich heritage of the Malone/Hawley neighborhood. This masterpiece, created by talented local artists Albert Maxey Sr. and Jevon Woods, was inspired by the youth at the Malone Center after learning the history of the neighborhood and illustrating their vision for the future.
Enjoy light refreshments and hear from the artists and community members who made this project possible. Free parking will be available on the surrounding residential streets.
The mural was made possible by a grant from the Lincoln Arts Council and the generosity of the building owner, Ben Kunz.
