About this Event

"From Tel Aviv to East Jerusalem and New York, Noam Shuster-Eliassi is using comedy to deliver home truths about injustice in Israel-Palestine!"

Noam's childhood and early adulthood invested in a traditional model of coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians. Growing up in Neve Shalom-Wahat al-Salam, a mixed community in central Israel where Jews and Palestinians live together by choice, Shuster-Eliassi took to peace activism as a young adult, becoming part of dialogue groups and working with a UN subsidiary and has now turned into comedy to make a real change!

In this short film, we follow Noam's first USA comedy tour which reaches an unexpected halt as the corona and covid -19 pandemic started in 2020 and she if forced to go back to Israel. In this movie we will hear her perspective about American Jewry, speaking up for Palestinian human rights in Israel and on US Campuses. - Movie length is 25 minutes, in color. Film is in Hebrew, English and Arabic (with subtitles)..The film will be screening on a projector.
