Community Mending evenings provide:
- Community to mend alongside & accountabili-buddies to finally get some of those items fixed!
- Access to all our mending-related tools & materials, including at least 2 home sewing machines you can use while you are there!
- Advice/guidance/teaching from a pro-sewist, Margo, who specializes in outdoor gear & garment mending.
- Join anytime during the 4-7pm window.
Sewing Machine Consultations Include;

We're excited to mend with you!
Note on Sliding Scale Pricing:
Repair PDX seeks to both pay equitably and keep ticket prices accessible.
Not every event we run is independently solvent. We provide sliding scale, free tickets for volunteers, and other low cost opportunities because of our values. Thus, we rely on those with more financial support to pay the higher end of the sliding scale in order to offset the low-cost tickets. Thus, you will see a variety of ticket prices for the same event and we encourage you to pay what you can.
Proceeds from tickets go directly to paying our wonderful instructors, providing materials for the class, and continuing to host events and workshops like this one!
*If you are a volunteer wanting to join the class or someone needing an accessible ticket when there are none left, please email [email protected] so we can open one up for you.
