Community Litter Pick

Join the Welly Wombles for a community litter pick at Queensway Park, Wellingborough, and help make a positive difference to your local environment.

Meeting point: St Marks Church carpark, NN8 3SD

Whether you're a regular volunteer or joining for the first time, everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity to meet local people, enjoy the outdoors, and work together to keep our park clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.

We are entering everyone who comes along to the event into a prize draw to be in for a chance to win a Caving Pass for one at The Pinnacle and a one hour pass for one person at Ninja Warriors, so come along to be in for a chance to win!

• A friendly and welcoming community event.
• Litter-picking equipment will be provided.
• An opportunity to help improve and protect your local green space.
• Suitable for families, friends and individuals of all ages.

• Wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.
• Dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
• Bring a water bottle.
• Wear gloves if you prefer to use your own.

• Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Please arrive a few minutes before the start time for a brief safety briefing.
• Photographs and videos may be taken during this event. These may be used by Healthy Schools and North Northamptonshire Council to promote future activities and share the positive impact of our work through social media, websites, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
• All collected litter will be disposed of responsibly.
