Curious about Artificial Intelligence and how it is becoming part of everyday life?

If so, please join this unique intergenerational community learning event hosted by Humber Polytechnic on October 14th, 2026.

Here are the details:

• Topic: AI for Everyday Living
• Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
• Time: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm (includes refreshments)
• Location: Humber Polytechnic Lakeshore Campus, room L1017
• Cost: Free to participants.
• Humber Student Program: Digital Business Management (B. Comm)

The format will include small-group conversations where participants can ask questions, share their experiences, and discuss how AI is changing the way we live, work, communicate, learn, and access information.

Community participants will come away with a better understanding of AI tools, and how and when they can be used safely. (No previous AI experience required).

• Using AI to Ask Better Questions
• AI for Travel Planning
• AI and Finding Reliable Care in the Community
• AI and Digital Safety
• Spotting AI-Generated Content

This is more than a workshop about technology, it is an opportunity for students and older adults to connect, exchange knowledge, and explore how AI can support everyday life.
