Step into an evening of devotion, resonance, and deep connection through sound.

This special Well Concert invites you into the heart of Hindu Kirtan, guided by two master facilitators whose work bridges ancient traditions and living spiritual practice. Through call-and-response chanting, sacred music, and collective presence, this gathering becomes more than a concert—it’s an immersive journey into Bhakti, the yoga of the heart.

Leading the experience is Amy Barnes, a master Kirtan facilitator whose offerings are deeply rooted in Bhakti Yoga and Kundalini Tantra. Her work is shaped by the profound influence of renowned teachers including Saul David Raye, Jai Uttal, and Sally Kempton. Amy also brings a rare depth through her decades-long devotion to Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), studied under her beloved teacher Susan Austin-Crumpton. The result is a powerful, multidimensional transmission that transcends tradition while honoring its roots.

Joining her is Eileen Bray, whose unique voice and artistry weave together the sacred threads of Hindu Kirtan and Gaelic tradition. Having shared her work across Ireland—especially in powerful solstice gatherings—Eileen’s Celtic Kirtan blends Gaelic language with sacred chants to create a sanctuary of peace, resonance, and ancestral remembrance. Her music opens a bridge between cultures, inviting participants into a timeless spiritual landscape.

The evening will be grounded and elevated by John Paul, a Sound Healing Academy–certified practitioner whose work lives at the intersection of jazz and sound healing. Drawing from decades of musicianship, his sonic textures create a spacious, immersive container that deepens the meditative and emotional experience of the Kirtan.

Together, these three artists offer a rare and powerful convergence of traditions—Hindu, Celtic, mystical, and musical—guiding you into a shared field of sound, spirit, and connection.

Seating: The Nature Center has several rows of plastic chairs as well as hardwood floor for cushion / yoga mat seating. If you'd like to sit on a floor, please bring a cushion and or yoga mat.

Accessibility Notice: The Nature Center is Wheelchair Accessible. We currently offer the option to sit in chairs or lie on floor mats. We hope to introduce more accessible options like zero-gravity chairs in the future.

Train Sounds & Noise: We’ve found that the occasional train and natural sounds from the surroundings add to the unique experience. The open windows also invite in the sounds of children playing, conversations, and birds singing.
