Community Island Spring Clean Up!

Help us keep our park clean for wildlife, ourselves, and for the next generation by joining us in a fun and important spring clean up this early April weekend! Everything we gather on Randall’s Island will remove it from the island and waterways and contribute to a better understanding of what types of trash end up in our natural areas.

Participants will be given gloves, trash grabbers, bags and a sheet to record what they have collected. Water and restrooms are available.

This volunteer activity is best suited for those ages 12 and older. Volunteers must be at least 11 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian before starting any work. Children under 16 must also have an adult with them while volunteering (please contact [email protected] for a copy of the waiver). Thank you!
