About this Event

Community Information Fair: Information. Resources. Connection.

What if the answers, resources, and connections your family needs were all in ONE place?

Join us for the Community Information Fair at Columbia Middle School on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM for a powerful day of information, education, resources, and community connection.

This event is designed to bring the community face-to-face with organizations, agencies, professionals, and leaders who can provide real information about the issues that impact our families every day. Come learn, ask questions, make connections, and take advantage of resources covering reverse mortgages, landlord and tenant matters, wills and estates, gang violence in schools, public safety, voter registration, Georgia student financial aid, community services, free flu shots, and more.

We’ll also feature a College Fair, giving students and families an opportunity to explore college opportunities, financial aid resources, and information to help prepare for life after high school.

Families can also connect with representatives from public safety, the Fire Department with a fire truck on site, Code Compliance/Enforcement, the Solicitor’s Office, Sanitation & Beautification, DCSD Safety, Morehouse School of Medicine, The Latin-American Association, Georgia Finance Services, and other community partners.

We are also honored to welcome Keynote Speaker Dr. Norman C. Sauce III, Superintendent of DeKalb County School District.

Whether you’re a homeowner, renter, parent, student, senior, caregiver, or simply someone who wants to know more about the resources available in your community, this event is for YOU.Come with questions. Leave with information, resources, and connections.
