About this Event

As part of the Essential Needs Task Force (ENTF) Workforce Development Committee, we are bringing together local workforce development organizations and community leaders who engage with employers across Kent County for a focused conversation about employer engagement.

This discussion will create space for workforce and community-based organizations (CBOs) to learn from those who regularly convene and collaborate with local employers across a range of industries. Together, we will explore what employers are looking for, how workforce organizations can better understand and respond to those needs, and opportunities to strengthen connections between employers and the community members they serve.

The goal is to foster a more collaborative approach to employer engagement and identify ways that workforce organizations and employers can work together to create stronger pathways to employment and better support job seekers throughout our community.

This event is intended for workforce development professionals, community-based organizations, and others supporting individuals with their employment goals.
