We are excited to invite you to our very first Community Health Day at the Dorey Park Farmers Market! We'll have a range of health-focused resources available to help you and your family stay healthy and happy. Look for: - Health Screenings to include blood pressure and glucose
- Community Health Groups to include Senior Connections, Henrico Mental Health, VCU Massey Cancer Center, YMCA, Virginia Capital Trail Foundation & more
- VCU Health Mobile Education Unit will be onsite
- CPR Certificate Course in the rec center - registration is full!
- Hula Hoop fun and art therapy
- Community Yoga
- Live music with Chip Hale
- POP Club fun and veggie tastings
Join us for a Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED training course led by our friends at Lasting Compressions. CPR is an essential life-saving technique used in emergencies like heart attacks, drowning, and choking, where breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Early CPR can greatly enhance the survival chances of those experiencing cardiac arrest.
This course will take place at the Dorey Park Recreation Center as part of DPFM's Community Health Day.
