Community Grief Ceremonial Gathering
About this Event
In many ways, we have forgotten how to grieve together.
In generations past, grief was not something to carry alone... it was witnessed by the community.
People gathered around fires, sang, wept, sat in silence, shared stories, and held one another through life's deepest losses.
Grief was recognized as a sacred part of being human, not something to hide or rush through. In our modern world, we are often expected to return to work, stay strong, and carry our sorrow in private.
As a result, many of us hold unspoken grief in our bodies and hearts. This gathering is an invitation to remember an older way... to return to the healing power of community, to be witnessed without needing to be fixed, and to honor grief as a sacred expression of love.
