About this Event

🌱 A Sunday That Feels Different

Most Sundays disappear before you notice them.

This is one you step into on purpose.

An intergenerational community gardening and creative session at WeBuild Allotment, where people aged 18–80+ come together to work with the land, create, and connect side by side.

Not a workshop. Not a class.
Something slower, more hands-on, more human.

🌿 What it is

A monthly outdoor session where you:

  • dig, plant, and work with the land
  • take part in a natural art activity
  • share conversation across generations
  • spend a slow morning outdoors, away from routine

One seed. One story. One Sunday.

🌿 Why it matters

Most weeks move fast. Sundays blur. Conversations stay surface level.

These sessions create something different:

  • time without urgency
  • connection without performance
  • learning without pressure
  • creating and going with the flow

People often arrive alone.
They leave already part of something.

🌿 What it feels like

You’re outside. Hands in soil. Moving slowly between simple tasks.

A conversation starts while you’re working, not across a table, but side by side.

Nothing to perform. Nothing to get right. Just time spent doing something real, with other people.

🌿 What people have felt after attending

“I’m leaving with excitement, and can't wait to see how the plants change, and how the plants that we sowed grow, and the changes in the space”

“I feel more regulated…. I’d had a really difficult week but now feel rested and had the space to just relax”

“I feel rejuvenated and held by the group”

“I feel really relaxed, and it was from being outdoors away from my phone. Normally, I’d be lying in bed, maybe with a bit of a hangover, scrolling on my phone. But I feel refreshed and relaxed, it was a really nice way to spend part of a Sunday”

🌿 What changes after

You don’t leave with something dramatic.

You leave with:

  • a new skill you actually used
  • a conversation that stays with you over a cup of tea
  • a slower rhythm that carries into the week
  • a sense of having spent time well
  • a piece of art you have created

🌿 Join us

If you’ve been craving a slower Sunday, this is it.

Come on your own or with someone else. Arrive as you are.

Step into the soil. See what unfolds when different generations create together.

Reserve your place now. Spaces are limited and tend to fill quickly.
