The Center for Family Development has a strong desire to create space for the community to come together and experience the authenticity of our town square here in Shelbyville. One of those ways to do that is to beautify a special piece of land located on our town square. This courtyard area has a rich history, and the goal is for the center to be able to open this space up for community events, outdoor games, seating, family fun, and much more. Join us for a community clean-up day on May 8th, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. We ask that you bring gloves, a hat, and water. Below is a list of needs we are asking for in regards to the event. If you are able to provide any of these and would like to join us, please message us here in fb.We look forward to beautifying this special site as a community and having it as a space that'll benefit our square.
Needs:
-Bags of Potting mix Soil
-Flowers, Ferns & succulents
-Water bottles
-A person to Trim bushes
-Heavy Duty Trash bags
-Extra Gloves
-a person to pressure wash
