COMMUNITY GARAGE GIFT-AWAY - OCTOBER 5, 2024
The Bryan/College Station area residents are invited to both contribute to and receive items from the Community Garage Gift-Away event. This event will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 beginning at 9AM (no early admittance). It is being sponsored by and held at Rock Prairie Baptist Church, 5000 Rock Prairie Rd, College Station, TX 77845.
TO RECEIVE: On the day of the Community Garage Gift-Away, everything will be free and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Nothing will be held or reserved, so please be prepared to take items with you when you leave. This event is for individuals and families - no resellers, please.
TO DONATE: This is an opportunity for you to clean out those gently-used but no longer needed items and bless someone else in the community who can use them. All we ask is that everything be clean and ready to use. Clothes should be laundered and folded for easy sorting and toys washed and/or disinfected.
Items being requested: Clothes, shoes, toys, baby items, tools, household items, kitchen tools and utensils, working electronics, gently-used furniture, good shoes, blankets, camping gear, school supplies, and unopened/sealed personal items (deodorant, soap, shampoo, etc.).
PLEASE DO NOT BRING BOOKS, PICTURE FRAMES, TOYS WITH MISSING PIECES, PERISHABLE ITEMS, UNDERGARMENTS OR BROKEN/DAMAGED ITEMS.
WHERE & WHEN TO DONATE: Donations will be accepted at the back door of the church (southwest side) from 1-4pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 2-4, 2024. Follow the signs.
