Community Forum - Fixing Cash Bail and Restoring Voting Rights

The forum will include exciting presenters who will explore effects, challenges and remedies for the broken cash bail system and the barriers to voting rights restoration. The Keynote Speaker is Lauren Beall of the ACLU. Community leaders will discuss how proposed legislation to reform cash bail and restore voting rights can create safer communities. You will leave with an understanding of the human cost of current criminal justice practices and how you can take action to make change happen.
