Community Forge Open Mic Night feat. Anita Levels | Nov 20th | FREE
About this Event
Open Mic & Open Stage with a live band of Pittsburgh's most talented musicians.
Join us for our November open mic!. All art forms and genres are welcome, from live music and singing to multidisciplinary art and comedy.
Featuring Anita Levels: Anita Levels is a vocalist and vocal instructor who has been singing since age 4. She has performed with the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra and at the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival, and you may recognize her voice from the NFL’s Super Bowl 50 commercial. As a teacher, Anita champions the historically Black genres of American music and loves creating safe spaces for creative expression.
Performance sign-ups are first-come, first-served. We have an incredible live band backing performers. Please be prepared to guide them on how you’d like your song played, or bring a reference track on your phone for the band to hear before you perform.
