We're back with another summer fire jam - this time at LAWLESS FORGE!
This will be our first jam in this new location, and we can't wait to share it with you! Many thanks to Lawless Forge for sponsoring this event and allowing us to use their space!
Note that we will be starting a bit later than usual - due to other events happening in the forge, please **do not arrive until 8:15!**
**Because this is a new venue, friends who are not planning to spin fire but will be inside the event will need to fill out our waiver before entry. Thank you in advance for rolling with the punches as we get acclimated to a new space!

Community Fire Jams offer an opportunity for fire spinners of all skill levels to practice and play with fire in a safe and supportive environment. Not feeling up to spinning fire yourself? Come watch or play with LED or day props outside the fire circle!
Everyone who spins fire needs to register and complete orientation one time per calendar year.

* 8:30: Orientation
* 8:30: Fire Circle opens

* 11:30: Fire Circle closes

Location: Lawless Forge.
There are bathrooms available inside the forge.
Parking: Please park under the West Seattle Bridge.
Leave No Trace: Please be sure to be extra respectful of this amazing space! Pick up any trash you see, and take everything you bring home with you <3
Bring what you need to thrive: We'll be in a concrete space this time around, so bring chairs, blankets, and whatever else you need to be comfortable throughout the night.

IF YOU PLAN TO SPIN FIRE:
*Register in advance: Registration is required once per calendar year by the Fire Department. You must register at least 7 days prior to the event (this means by Friday, July 3). This is required by the Fire Department for our permit so there is no wiggle room. We can’t let you spin if you don’t sign up!

Orientation: Everyone who burns needs to complete our fire safety & event orientation once per calendar year. We will host orientation multiple times throughout the night, including at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 at this event!
Volunteer: We need your help to keep the show running! When you check in at the front desk on the day of the event, you’ll be asked to pick a 30 minute volunteer shift with either the Sign-in Desk, Fuel Depot, Fire Safety, or Set-up/Tear-down Crew. Thank you in advance for supporting your community in this way! ❤
Dress to Impress… And Not Catch on Fire: Make sure to wear natural fibers or fire retardant treated clothing. Cotton, leather, & denim are all safe bets. Leave the synthetics, feathers, and fur at home. Spin barefoot at your own risk!
If you are sick or under the weather, please stay home! We love sharing everything - except for germs.
