The Michigan Theaters Community Film Club is back again with Horror & Comedy in Film for the month of October! Come on out and celebrate the spooky season in full swing with scares and laughs!

ABOUT OCTOBER FILM CLUB
It's the spooky season here in Ann Arbor! Come on out and join us to connect over Horror and Comedy. Whether it's the steady increase of gags and jokes being forced into otherwise serious Horror films, or the classic Scary Movie style of Comedy over Horror. Let's discuss the surprising (or NOT so surprising) success of comedy creators when they step into the world of Horror. Jordan Peele now helps shape horror in America and the recent overwhelming success of Obsession shows us that Gen Z audiences and creators are deeply connected to what scares us - as much as what makes us laugh.
Come out and talk about your favorite horror classics, horror comedies, and share some laughs and scares with new friends! We will meet for 1 hour for our standard club meeting - then we will convene in the screening room to enjoy a couple of special horror short movies and a group discussion! After this club meeting and group forum we will enjoy the film selected by the club vote!
PLEASE NOTE: The film club meeting is free to attend, but the post meeting movie will still be a standard ticketed screening. Once you have cast your vote, keep an eye out for when the film club movie goes up and on sale 2 weeks prior to this club meeting!
