We are so excited for the next Community Exchange! Join us for the Clothing Swap, get some help mending your clothes at the Mending Corner, sign up for a workshop, and come enjoy the great vibes for this fun Saturday event!We will be in the auditorium at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre on Saturday November 23rd from 10am to 2pm. This event is free and open to all!
CLOTHING SWAP!
The clothing swap will take place from 10:00-2:00 and is free, and you do not need to bring items to take items home! If you would like to bring/donate items, we will gratefully accept clean, gently used clothing, shoes, and outerwear for all ages and sizes, infant to adult. We will also accept toys, books, and art supplies.
MENDING CORNER!
Do you have clothing that could use some TLC? Perhaps a button has fallen off, or there is a tear in a sleeve. Bring your well-loved items to the drop-in mending corner and receive help from our fabulous volunteers to bring your items back into working condition, and learn some new skills!
VISIBLE MENDING WORKSHOP!
Join our Visible Mending workshop in the Charlottetown Library kitchen, during the Community Exchange on Saturday Nov 23rd, from 10:00 to 11:00 to learn some amazing new mending skills! EARLY DONATION DROP-OFF!
You can bring clothing donations for the swap to the Voluntary Resource Centre (81 Prince St) 9:00-3:00 on weekdays Tuesday November 12th until Thursday November 21st.
